I recently ordered a Filisko harmonica from Joe Filisko.  I had ordered 
it with special 20 reed plates key of A.  He called me up and said he 
couldn't get any decent reed plates from Hohner.  He said all the recent 
batches were junk and my only hope was to find an old set.  If the plates 
are bad the assembled harmonicas are bound to be too.  He thought it 
might be an alloy problem.  FJM
