I wouldn't bother, they pretty much suck. Personal opinion, but then again
I haven't met anyone who seriously uses them (except Brendan, of course).
If you need those extra notes, either play in a diferent position on a
regular harp, overblow or use a chromatic.
Actually, my main grief with them was durability. Unless you treat them
religiously well, the valves will stick, buzz, gum up and generally cause
problems. Also the cover plates have almost nothing to bed in to on the
body and tend to slide out of position once they get at all bent or crushed
- obviously this applies to the non-valved ones as well.
The only Pro Valve I have in my case right now has had the valves stripped
off it and has to be regularly fiddled with to stop the cover plates
slipping. I like the clean tone and the accuracy, but I won't be buying
any more.
Cute cases, though.
