I remember hearing a few years ago that Mick Jagger was gonna do
a Blues record.  He was gonna use the Red Devils from LA to be the
band.  He was planning to record all sorts of Howlin' Wolf & Muddy Waters
tunes...  but his record company bagged it and told him to do a rock thing.

BTW, has anybody heard the Red Devils CD.  It is called "King King".  Recorded
live at a the King King club.  The harp player also does all the vocals....
thru his bullet mic!  Very raw blues.  Great stuff!
