Re: Subject: [Harp-L] Echo Harp

Hi all.

Echo Harps have been made for decades in the same manner. Thus, it is really
difficult to date them, and they are very common, not having really a value
as a collectible. They are fine harmonicas and look great and are,
therefore, very popular.

Nowadays the coverplates are made of stainless steel, being very easy to
clean, and do not tarnish easily.

They are indeed difficult to disassemble, but there is a good tip if the
holes for the small nails get too big: jam the tip of a tooth pick into the
hole and break it off. This will give the nail the necessary grip to hold
the coverplates better together.

The newest addition to the Hohner tremolo line is the Tremolo 21 Deluxe,
fully assembled with screws, with a plastic body. Take a look at

All the best,
Fernando, in Brazil at the moment.
