The video description is labeled as created by AI. The harmonica sounds
like 90% real. There is something slightly different about the timbre, but
the phrasing is wonderful - very much busy blues playing, but the melodic
parts are very cool. I might be biased because it is the sort of vibe I
play with. While many of us will say using AI for art is lame, it brings up
an interesting conversation about "soul". As someone who doesn't play a
lot of expected harmonica parts, haters immediately claim anything that
isn't straight blues harp can't have soul. I think most people will be
faked by AI music, which is literally using math to determine what sounds
soulful. I guess my point is that describing things as "soulful" may take
on a different meaning. An AI version of Sound of Silence pops up next and
the harmonica has a very similar triplet approach.
