I like the Harp-L format and style.
It is all user behavior and choices.
The email application < I use Apple Mail and it separates the messages by color. I also auto delete the “digest responses” and sort them into a Harp-L folder.
Digest vs per post email < That is a choice. There is so few of them it is not really necessary anymore. The people who ask questions on how to manage the subscription are not reading the emails… it is at the top of them.
Device < The device you are using to consume the content will adapt to how you see it. The easiest to adjust for is basic text.
Storage < I have a ccpy of every message sent I use to research Harmonica questions. The text takes up less space and is way easier to search with boolean searches.
Also you mention mybb. There was a web version of Harp-L if you do not like the text based format. For several years they were also on Google.
