Check the Powerpatch from Brendan Power. I have a number of my CX-12s fitted with these by Steve Malerbi. It is usually necessary to reduce the size of the spring/bar to make them work the best.

Hohner does sell the shells/covers, but the pricing is not that friendly.

I would like to find a cover plate or housing for a CX 12 that I broke the outside to but the insides work just fine. I am looking for one that the color is not black. Not the Jazz model but only the standard CX 12. New or used is fine. ThanksRoger
