I had mentioned the bass and chord harmonicas played in Being for the
Benefit of Mister Kite. Reading Pat Missin he's skeptical that George
and John played them on the song even though there is an image of them
with the harmonicas. Pat may well be right that George and John were
not the players on the session. beatlesbible.com says Ringo Starr
(harmonica}, George Harrison (harmonica) Neal Aspinall (harmonica) and
Mall Evans (bass harmonica) That said you can hear them being played on
the intro. You can also pick them out on the twirling middle parts.
Then there are The Analogues a Dutch group of fanatic musicians
recreating the Beatles catalogue using all original instrumentation.
They aren't harmonica fanatics but they are completists of a very high
order. Here's their version of the song, you can see the harmonicas in
the video which helps to locate them in the actual music.
