Hosting an outdoor fundraiser for John Long at The Back Stage - Greeley CO.  3-7 PM this Sunday.  Located an hour north of Denver.  For those far away who may want to contribute, there is a tip jar on the ticketing page.  I'm not taking a cut, all proceeds go to John and his wife Carrie.

It is for good reason that John has shared stages and billings with Muddy Waters, Walter Horton, The Mama's & the Papas, John Hammond, Phoebe Snow, B B King, Steven Stills, Terry & McGhee (both as an opener, and as a stand-in for Sonny Terry), Big Mama Thornton, Roosevelt Sykes, Paul Butterfield and many more.  A rare living link to many legends of the Blues, Gospel, Folk and Country.  
At 70-something John still retains a rich singing voice and great multi-instrumental chops.  His storytelling and sharing of his musical journey is priceless.  Come if you can!
