So, you won't see your own posts if you are using a gmail account.  It's 
a quirk of how they do their inbox.  You already have the sent version 
and it won't go into your inbox until it threads with a reply.  If you 
want to know if you're posts are hitting the list go to www.harp-l.org 
and scroll down the page to the archive link and open up the current 
month.  The archive compiles new posts pretty much instantly.
