[Harp-L] Stevie, Once in my life, solo
Wed Sep 23 01:05:24 EDT 2020
Maybe I didn't post this correctly.
No one mentioned hearing this recent unlisted link
This is 10 seconds, assembled by the following method:
1. slowed original audio 50%
2. sampled first note
3. sampled second note
4. each note looped and EQ'd to 2400hz peak to emphasize the fundamental
5. Single note loops joined and looped
I made no pitch alteration. The pitch of these two tones is far closer to a
whole step than a half step.
Also revealed in this processing is that this piece DOES sound like a bend
as Michael Rubin mentioned. . Chromatic slides of a half step processed
similarly sound very different elsewhere in the song.
I don't mind that anyone disagrees. It's been a fun and challenging
project for me to demonstrate this way.
