So if you like Country / Bluegrass harmonica

Here is the full length - full speed version of Blackberry Blossom

Played on a Harmo Custom Shop model:

Nice stuff. The breath control alone is worth studying. Nice to hear the whole range of the instrument deployed in this performance too.

Well, it's not the same Blackberry Blossom, but Blackberry Blossom it is.
Learned from a recording of West Virginia fiddler, Ed Haley (1885-1951).
Link is to a recording by a band I play with from time to time, called New Road. The first tune, Boatsman, is from the playing of North Carolina fiddler, Marcus Martin (1881-1974).

Best regards to all,
Rick

Well it worked, but it wasn't Blackberry Blossom.

I have to add that for me, at about the 1:00 mark the recording fast forwards to the end. Rich, do you have another way to share? Or, a place where I can buy downloads of your recordings? Which harmonica are you playing? I?ve just gotten an XB-40 in G and one in C. I think these would be good for American OldTime.

Thanks for any help.
