Robert Hale wrote"I tuned up a C Hohner Chromonica 10-hole, with the slide producing the next
higher scale pitch.
I lowered all the SLIDE-OUT tones a whole step with solder, making the
SLIDE-IN pitches easier to tune, so it became a Bb-rooted harp.

EXAMPLE
Blow 1 Bb, slide in = C
Blow 2 D, slide in = Eb
Blow 3 F, Slide in = G

All SLIDE-IN
produces a Cm scale From Draw 1, with grace notes BELOW the tone played.
produces a Bb Major scale from Draw 4, with grace notes BELOW the tone
played.

It offers lovely turns, trills, and grace notes in Positions 1, 2, and 12
Major; and 3, 5, and 6 Minor.
