[Harp-L] VIDEO--How To Use Intervals for MELODIC Solos - YouTube

First thing that comes to my mind is when I used to play "Willow Weep for Me", the melodic line begins with an octave leap (tongue switching makes it easy). Since I am a fan of using the original melodic line as a start for variations on the theme in soloing, I'd use this large interval within the solo as well....

I believe what we have here is a chording instrument. And as such a harmonica can't possibly compete. And as far as the large jumps, one mouth (WITH breath switching) can't possibly compete with 10 fingers. And I don't think Mr.Levy can do it either. And I am familiar with this guitar player. He IS great.

smo-joe (just an opinion, you understand)
