[Harp-L] hearing protection

Below is a recommendation for earplugs that Madcat made on this list about 6 months ago. I got a pair of these and found they work well:

I use the 3M earplugs from the hardware store. They are cheap, durable, and effective. They are connected by a lanyard which I wear behind my neck, so if I remove one, it stays with me, or I can let them hang. Each set has a small round plastic case. I usually buy a 3-pack and give them away to less prepared players.
