Roger, I've tested several XLR transmitters including the XVive U3,
Sennheiser XSW and older Samson AX1. They all work fine with dynamic
elements, CM's, CR's - but NOT crystals. However you would need to
rewire your mic's connector to Pin 2 Hot to work with any of those.

A customer tested the Nux and said it did NOT work, even with a dynamic
element - in the above scenario.

If your JT30 still has a crystal you will need an impedance matching
transforming adapter. I can help you with that.

Subject: [Harp-L] Wireless Astatic JT30

Hello everyone,

I own an Astatic JT30 mic with a Hi-Z XLR connector.

I am looking for a wireless system.

Would a XLR wireless like the following be effective ?

http://www.nuxefx.com/index.php?m=content&c=index&a=show&catid=74&id=282

For this first I can easily wire a cable to connect the receiver to my
amp. Like the cable I actually use.

Or must I use a guitare adaptor like this one ?

http://www.nuxefx.com/index.php?m=content&c=index&a=show&catid=74&id=276

I must then wire an adaptor between the mic and the transmitter.

What would be your advice ?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

Roger
