I did. It was about 1975 or '76; I had just started playing, or trying to play, when I bought  Tony's Blues Harp Songbook, which was [I think] the second of his books. Not sure I actually learned much about playing form that book, but I did learn important things about some of the players and harp in general. Very important to me...
RIP, Tony Glover, RIP.

Sorry to hear. His Blues Harp instructional book was my first- I think I still have it...somewhere.
