Excellent choices. Me? I heard someone say, in fact several someones said many years ago that harmonica is going the way of the passenger pigeon.
To this I say hogwash. Harp is alive and well and it seems to go in cycles. I would give these about 33 years. Like 1863, 1896, 1929, 1962, 1995. Check
it out for yourselves. Look at the names of the different waves of players.

As for genres, I feel it’s all a matter of taste. I seem to gravitate towards French players slightly more. Jerome Perelevades has become my ‘go TO’ source
for his delivery and choices of musics. If I want my socks blown off I think that Rachal Plas is DE Fleur. The other names mentioned are also swell players.
I also like Filip Jers & Pete Gazell ( both of whom I could listen to all day) Jens Bunge, Wim Dijgraff. Michal Adler and Hermine Duerloo rock my boat. As
 do several Asian players.

My favorite for Latin jazz is Hendrick Meurkens, trying to copy Mike Stevens can give you a hernia, and Jerl Welch from Dallas is an unknown ‘proverbial’
Hit Man. My favorite as far as personality is WilI Gallison, I find Mike Turk to be scary good, and I LOVE ‘Handy’ Randy Singer. Slim Heilpern is smoother
than butter. I better stop as I have already failed to mention the approximately 129 great players I think are super.

I was never that fond of classical, so although some of the very best are in that field, their material doesn’t speak to me. And being Polish & Italian I am not
that predisposed towards blues. Although I did do a lot of doo-wop. Mostly back in the 50s & 60s. And since I also played cornet & clarinet (some sax), I am
mainly a swing and jazzified pop side man.

I also feel that some players have, over time, set themselves up and sold themselves to the effect that they are given a lot of credence. Credence that they
may not deserve. I find these people (whom play in the 87.358 percentile) on panels judging players whom are in the 90.177 to 95.595 percentile range. I
frankly find this amusing. :)
