[Harp-L] Harp-L Activity

every generation (up until recently) had some less than excellent harmonica on a hit record that turned that generation on to playing harmonica, regardless if it was Dylan, Jagger, Popper (who I feel is a speed sequencer rather than musical linear player - but effective during the speed metal years) and even Alannis Morissette...

Last October, I was hanging out with Tomlin Leckey in an Edinburgh pub. He told me that the best thing about “Blue and Lonesome” was that it has driven a ton of people to take up the harmonica and approach him for lessons. Mick’s playing may not be virtuosic but it sure seems to have increased interest in the instrument.

Happy Hacking,
