Some 500 harmonica players just finished up an amazing week of music,
jamming, instruction and all around fun.

As anyone in the convention business knows, these events require a
considerable effort from the "boots on the ground" team.

This is where a bunch of old school Oklahomans come in. The Tulsa Route 66
Harmonica club once again rose to the challenge. Their commitment to SPAH
doesn't stop at a few passionate harmonica players. Throughout the week,
their spouses were every bit as involved, too.

They manned booths and information desks, housed people in their homes,
made airport runs, fixed cell phones, retrieved luggage, and were
constantly looking for ways they could serve. Many club members missed
events so they could keep the wheels of the convention spinning.

Ya'll are quite a competent and hospitable bunch and it was duly noted by
many.

Just a quick note to let you know you are appreciated and your service to
our community and the SPAH convention is really appreciated.

Thank you thank you!
You are great people living in a fine city.
