There should be info posted about the 2018 SPAH convention on the SPAH website spah.org.  The SPAH Facebook page is another good resource, some find it easier to navigate than the website.


Tickets will be on sale this May at Harmonica Planet.com for the International Blues Blowoff, aka the SPAH Blowoff.  The show date is Tues Aug 14, in a club venue so close to the SPAH hotel you could hit it with a rock... or if you prefer, a harmonica.  PT Gazell, John Long and Will Scarlett are but three of the artists in this years incredible lineup, PT hasn't taken part for over a decade, he's long overdue and most welcome.  Last years info is still posted at Harmonica Planet, I'll soon start the transition to 2018, and will announce that here once it's changed over.  If you've never attended the IBB, then the 2017 info will give you a nice overview of why this is considered to be a true "Bucket List" event for blues fans worldwide.



Due to the size and layout of the venue, VIP seating will be quite limited this year, those on the Harmonica Planet/IBB mailing list will get advance notice and first chance to pick up those hard to get tickets.  Signup is quick and easy, and you won't later receive any spam.


Be aware that IBB tickets are not included with SPAH registration, this sister event is however a 15+ year SPAH tradition, and is enthusiastically endorsed by SPAH.
