[Harp-L] Fixing slightly bent slide

There is no good way to do it.  If you had the skill and experience to do it, you wouldn’t be asking the question.

To undo a bend, it is necessary to bend the slide just the right amount in the opposite direction. Clamping the slide between flat surfaces won’t do it.  Hammering the slide against a flat surface won’t do it.  Most attempts to straighten it will result in even more damage.

It may be possible but it is is very, very difficult to do this right. To get an idea of the problem, try to straighten a paper clip.

You can try, but before you do, make up your mind that you will probably have to obtain a new slide.
