Wade Schuman of Hazmat Modine uses a HOG, I have always wondered why you 
would choose one versus the other.  I've also always wanted one but 
never bothered to spend the $$.  I uses an older Alesis rackmount that 
gets me most of the way towards a Hammond/Leslie sound.  There is an 
older thread on Modern Blues Harmonica with a fair bit of discussion on 
the POG vs the micro POG and there are a couple of videos in the thread 
with demos of various solutions people have employed including the POG. 
I currently own a Leslie cabinet but I've never done anything with it 
for lack of a pre amp to input the sound.  That and it needs work, the 
belts are all loose and worn plus the baffle on the woofer is torn.  It 
continues to moulder away in storage for now and the foreseeable future.
