All this talk about the 700 buck Ace Chromatic cheers me up a bit. It reassures me that my investment of €160 in a Seydel Saxony some years ago may not have been an extravagance after all (I think that they cost over €260 nowadays).

The discussion about wood comb inserts is slightly worrying however.  I think it raises the danger of resurrecting “The Great Comb Debate”
