Dear Fellow Music Lovers -
Announcing Harmonica Classes in the Philadelphia PA area:
Seth Holzman Teaches Harmonica Classes, Workshops, Private Classes and Private Lessons!
Seth's "Beginning Harmonica" and "Blues Harmonica 1" classes begin really soon!
Thursday Night Harmonica Classes begin in just a few days - on Thursday January 26.
Wednesday Night Harmonica classes begin on Wednesday March 1.
    Register now!

My 8 week Thursday night classes - "Harmonica For Beginners (Adults ages 13 and above)" (6:30 to 7:45 PM) and "Blues Harmonica 1" (8:00 to 9:15 PM) begin Thursday Jan. 26. They continue for 8 weeks on Thursday nights through March 16 at the Philadelphia Folksong Society (PFS), recently relocated to 6139 Ridge Ave., Philadelphia PA 19128 (in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia).

Note: The same Thursday night classes are being offered by two different organizations: the Philadelphia Folksong Society (PFS) and the Mount Airy Learning Tree (MALT). Even though they are offered by two different organizations, the classes are identical. (However the Beginner Harmonica Class is different than the Blues Harmonica 1 class.) Thus you may register for a Thursday night class through either organization. There is a slightly different fee depending on which organization you sign up with. It costs slightly less to register through PFS. It is even cheaper if you are a member of PFS.

For course descriptions, go to the various websites.
Here is a quick link to view the course description and/or register for the course through PFS:
    https://civi.pfs.org/civicrm/event/info?id=45&reset=1
You may also call PFS at 215-247-1300, or go to www.pfs.org.

Course fee through PFS: $85.00 for members of PFS, $95.00 for non-members.
There is no registration fee to register through PFS.
Textbook fee for each class: $8.00. (Textbook may be purchased in the first class.)

To register and for other information for these Thursday night classes through the Mount Airy Learning Tree (MALT) and for other information, call MALT at 215-843-6436 or go to www.mtairylearningtree.org.
    Course fee through MALT: $94.00.
    Registration fee through MALT: $5.00.
Textbook fee for each class: $8.00. (Textbook may be purchased in the first class.)

My 8 week Wednesday night classes - "Harmonica For Beginners" (6:30 to 8:00 PM) and "Blues Harmonica 1" (8:00 to 9:30 PM) begin Wednesday March 1 at Haverford Senior High School in Havertown PA. Classes continue for 8 weeks on Wednesday nights through April 26 (no class on April 12).
These Wednesday night classes are offered by Haverford Township Adult School (HTAS).
For information or to register, contact HTAS at 610-446-8022 or go to www.haverfordadultschool.org.

Note: If you are interested in one of these harmonica classes, please sign up as soon as possible (immediately). Because class size is limited, the class could fill up, and then you will be closed out of the class. If there are not enough people registered for a class, it will be canceled.

I've been teaching harmonica classes since 1975 in the Boston MA area; the Syracuse NY area; in New York City; and finally in the Philadelphia PA area (I've moved several times over the years).
I have been teaching private harmonica lessons since the early 1970's.
I've had the pleasure of sitting in with Muddy Waters, Koko Taylor, Roomful of Blues, Magic Slim, Dave "Honeyboy" Edwards, John Brim, Vanessa Collier and others. And I've had the great pleasure of gigging with Ronnie Earl, John Mooney, and many others.

Call me (Seth) at 610-724-3168 (cell phone) or email me at zepharpo at xxxxx for
information about harmonica classes, workshops, private classes and private lessons.

Thank you!
Best,
Seth
