It's still amazing to me how passionate folks are about the comb material debate. Of course I still stand by my statement of do what makes you happy. I can understand the passion related to the tests that have been done in the past and the pros and cons of each, I have no doubt that those folks involved invested a good deal of time and effort into doing the best they can. Maybe I'm not as serious about the instrument as I should be, but I don't even get worked up about what woods are used in any of my guitars either.
