[Harp-L] 2 Music Awards in 2 Weeks
I won two music awards within two weeks. The International Acoustic Music Awards (IAMA) gave me a runner-up award in the instrumental category for my Gypsy jazz inspired version of “Oh, Lady Be Good,” from my “Douce Ambiance: Gypsy Jazz Classics” CD.
In addition, my “Bluegrass in the Backwoods” CD was the 14th Independent Music Awards (IMA) Vox Pop Winner in the bluegrass album category. I was one of the four nominated bluegrass albums that folks then voted for. (it is very unusual for a harmonica player to get nominated for a bluegrass album.) Thanks to all who voted for my album.
