[Harp-L] re: Take five

Below is something like the original "Take five", if the link works. (Otherwise, search "Take five" on YT.) Maybe IÂm not hearing this right -- in wich case IÂll eat a whole lot of humble pie with my Friday beers tonight -- but doesnÂt the B-theme introduce the root note (Eb) one octave higher than in the A-theme?
I know that Madcat has played it (I own his ... what were they called, CD? where he does it), but I claim that he is "incorrect" insofar as heÂs starting the B-theme on 4D. To be played accurately youÂd have to start that one, in 3pos, on 8D -- thus requiring OB`s.
Now, not doing this is not against the law, and, as we all now, Madcat is a tremendous harmonica player -- but thatÂs not the issue.

For me this is one of the (few) tunes where a LO minor tuning comes in handy: still requiring a passing 5OB, but more ... handy.cheers,Martin
