I'm playing the same 4 short riffs on Hohner & Suzuki Harps in Bb and the same exercise with 4 Harps in C. You can hear differences in tone between them but they are not huge. You can quite clearly hear differences when you are actually playing them but I guess that is in part due to the physical interaction with the harps and vibrations you feel in your mouth/face etc., as the sound reaches the ears.
