Interesting interpretation, Slim. Plausible too, but I would have
thought the guy would have articulated that in his answer. I'm sure he
wasn't worried about hurting Lennon's feelings. In fact, Dexter also
turned down "Please Please Me" and "From Me to You." Leaving his
explanation open-ended like that implies all sorts of possibilities and
chances of misinterpretation. I'm still going with my gut feeling on this;
but I thank you for bringing up an explanation I hadn't thought of.
