There is no substitute for practice to be sure. But greatness is a combination of drive, talent, and practice. But practice alone only goes so far. Iâve been trying to teach myself guitar. I practice a couple hours a night, nearly every night and have done so for the last year and half to two years. Letâs just say my progress is on the slow side. Iâm sure Iâm the exception to the rule. Like Iâm the only guy Chris Michalek couldnât teach to over blow with his âpatented" straw technique. I can play the blues with all the bends and I can play chromatic but OBs nope. Guitar, barely. Practice doesnât seem to help. Well, maybe Iâm not practicing the right stuff?
