RE: [Harp-L] wireless experiences?

I echo Robert's report re: pairing the Audix-V a wireless system. I use a Samson wireless rig that I purchased from Greg Heuman. I'm just back from being on the road with piano player Barrelhouse Chuck and I decided to pack the wireless system. It works great with the Audix-V --no feedback problems, great tone, good clarity, great range. It invites walking around the room. You have to experiment with adjusting the gain in advance of the gig, but once you have it configured it works great. I actually had the xlr jacks on my JT-30's modified for use with the wireless rig but I find that it changes the tone in ways that I don't appreciate and creates feedback problems, so I tend to stick with the cord when using those mics. But the Audix mic is great when going wireless. You can't get the hand effects with the Audix that are possible with a JT-30 but I find that's fine for many tunes.
