Very cool. And what a wonderful player to demonstrate it.
I've achieved a similar effect with the Sydel Fanfare. It's designed as 
a tremolo, but the Seydel configurator allows custom reed layouts. I 
asked for an octave setup. It's a 12 hole instrument, so you have to 
figure out what to do with the other holes.
I tuned mine to Major cross. The instruments are powerful, fast, and 
easy to play.
That said, a 10 hole would be nice. You can't bend notes on double reed 
valved harmonicas. So perhaps a Paddy Richter setup would be the way to go.
Except that.. I don't think Hohner make the Auto-Valve octave 10 hole 
any more.
