[Harp-L] Suzuki SSCH-56 Chord Harmonica

I got an SSCH-56 for Christmas, and I just want to say that I really, really like it. It looks great, it sounds sweet, it feels nice to hold and to play, and it has major, minor, diminished, and augmented chords in all 12 keys, all compacted into one axe and only 14 holes.

I’ve never played any kind of chord harmonica before, and it remains to be seen if I have the tenacity to become proficient enough to use it in performance (so far my “aim” is full of intriguing surprises), but I like it enough to pick it up, play it a bit, pick it up again later, play it a bit more, etc.

I know that Suzuki particularly pride themselves on being innovators. I like this innovation a whole lot.
