I forgot to say, whilst delay & reverb were added by the studio, LW did use tremolo from time to time, most notably on the "Don't Need No Horse" session and "Going Down Slow" session. But I figured you were principally asking about echo effects.
It's also worth noting that perhaps a third, or more, of the commonly heard LW tracks (including those as a sideman) appear dry (no obvious effect) with respect to delay/reverb.

mark that could have been very true how the sound tec got the delay and reverb and lw didn't know anything about it, bottom line lw had effects an a lot of his recordings and I use a delay now and it sounds like lw.
