As a harmonica maker/customiser you sometimes get some unusual challenges
from customers. A recent request was to fit a Suzuki Sirius
mouthpiece/slider to a Seydel chromatic.
It's tricky in several ways, the main problem being that they have different
hole spacings (Seydel are wider than all other brands). After some head
scratching I designed and 3D printed an Interface Plate to match the two
hole spacings, and fitted the Suzuki slider with a 3D printed button and
small coil spring. Put together the sound is really sweet!
