Sonny Terry had the ability to get way, way out there and yet still be
right in the pocket... bebop blues??? A great example is the live version of
Backwater Blues that he performed with Brownie McGhee. Here's a link to it
on the same 2nd Fret album referenced by Gary / Sonny Jr. This same
recording was included in the later release of 'The Best of Sonny Terry and
Brownie McGhee'.
