The harmonica Fox Chase is not dead and gone! All pre-war harmonica players worth their salt apparently had a performance piece featuring the Fox Chase. Most of us have never seen or experienced a fox chase. 

In modern times, the harmonica Fox Chase is no longer heard.....then along comes Jason Ricci! After a long absence from the SPAH convention (Society for the Preservation and Advancement of the Harmonica) he returns to Denver in 2015 , delivering a stunning rendition, both fast and furious, that can only be described as a modern day Fox Chase on steroids. All in attendance were in awe! I'm sure the pre-war greats in heaven (or hell) couldn't believe such a thing was possible. Neither could we!
