Subject: [Harp-L] Fanny Power - the Tony Eyers Harmonica Trio goes baroque

The Tony Eyers Trio has recorded Fanny Power, by the 18th century Irish harp player Turlough O'Carolan. You can see it at https://youtu.be/SmTMEbF4F8w

I've played recorder in a baroque ensemble for the last 20 years, the experience has guided the arrangement of this tune. It make sense, to us at least, as we're applying 18th century performance styles to an 18th century tune.

I'm sure however that O'Carolan didn't envisage a harmonica trio playing his tunes...
