For every person out there who's stated that something can't be done on chromatic or diatonic, there is always someone out there who figures out a new technique or new sound.  That's the beauty of any musical instrument, and especially the harmonica.

We've been there, done that.  Ode to Joy challenge.  Harmonica in general is tough to play legato, diatonic is probably the worst offender in this regard.  Pitch is just one aspect of the sound, timbre another, attack yet another.  Best of luck to Scott, you're going to need it.  fjm
