I hope at least some of you get to see the Blues Foundation Hall of Fame
show with Charlie Musselwhite, James Cotton and John Hammond starting to
tour around. Happy to report it is a great show if somewhat spotty on the
promotion. Cotton was a little shaky and sparse at first but warmed up as
the show went along. Not sure which I enjoyed more, his playing or his
great facial expressions. Charlie was, of course, completely solid as was
his combo with Matthew Stubbs (g) and June Core (d) and Steve (??) on bass.
A real treat.
