Thanks for the att-boy onâCalifornia Dreamingâ.
Iâm using two diatonic harmonicas; a Hohner harmonic minor in the key of âBâ and a lee Oskar Em, natural minor. The harmonic minor is on the top.
Using the coupling method to play fills out the range and allows for expanded arrangements. Thatâs how I was able to imitate Ben Shankâs flute solo.
I thought the minor keys caught the haunting quality of the original song.
