I did first try to go down the PayPal dispute road but this was thrown out
for being past the 45 day cut-off period and having re-contacted PayPal
today, they have said also since the item was "custom made" they do not
cover and have never covered this type of product. This contradicts Slims
claim that HE won the dispute due to his "abundance of evidence", none of
which has ever been presented to the public.
PayPal have also told me today that although they do not cover this type of
product if they receive numerous complaints about a trader they will deem
them to be too high a risk and close their account.
It is interesting to note that since I placed my order with Slim in October
last year and consequently raised a PayPal claim his stated delivery
time has now been extended to 60 days. Could this be a ploy to try and
avoid further claims?
