I found and "borrowed" the audio from that video some time ago, and have recently been using it to good effect in my attempts to hear the upper areas of chords that toots started to live in at the time... and where he lived even more so in his later work.
Transcribing that solo (using Transcribe! app) will open lots of ear-doors for the interested listener-student.
A good mix of predictable, totally accessible, lines with "toots" lines....a good bridge between "bebop" and Toots' neo-bop. In short, a lesson. Thanks, toots.
I find no issues with the band....

player of music, mostly written by dead people and played on a toy that everybody's Uncle except my nephew's has the good sense to keep safely out of sight in a drawer.
