[Harp-L] More Pertaining to "Paddy"

According to Merriam-Webster the term "diminutive" references of some "word or suffix that indicates that something is small". Diminutive names were historically used to refer to people having of the small brain [n***ers].

For example: In the old South then Negros having the name James were called "Jimmy"; elsewhere then the "black Irish" were called "Paddy".

Brendon Power appears to have descended from some "black Irish" and might not have been aware of the real history of the name "Paddy". "Paddy" is not just a cute form of "Padraig" but references of a certain type of Irish.

For future reference then consider the list at " http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ethnic_slurs#P ".

According to Confucius "The beginning of wisdom is to call things by their proper name".
