Key of A is a fourth interval lower than D and the draw 1 reed will swing
more widely. Played softly it's no problem, but played loudly the reed
could bang (buzz) against the lower cover.

You didn't mention what harp you have, but Lee Oskar puts a deeper draw
plate cover on A, G, and Low F harps for this reason.
