Subject: [Harp-L] Howard Levy Plays Bluegrass
The harmonica player that bluegrass musicians most often mention to me is
Howard Levy. Howard was introduced to most of them through banjoist Bela
Fleck and the Flecktones. Haven’t heard Howard play much straight-ahead
bluegrass or old-timey, but here he is playing along with a bluegrass banjo
player who looks like he has seen better days.

You can hear Howard play Mark O’Connor’s arrangement of Cottonpatch Rag on
his Cappuccino CD. A short sample of this tune is provided at the iTunes
store.=
