I was very sad to see the Gig List fade away. Danny did such a service to all of us keeping it updated as long as he did. I cant think of many ways that would  preserve and advance the harmonica more so than publicizing gigs and events dates. I cannot remember all the shows I and my friends saw because of the Gig List but for years I kept my calendar updated w/ upcoming local harp gigs and always checked it when going on vacation.  If SPAH could take over the duties of running it that would be ideal!!!!!!!!!
