Re: [Harp-L] My New Site is open...jon kip
Hey Jon,
Good Work!! The site looks terrific!!! Congrats and yes, something there for everyone as you say!
I surely can't help you with sending it to Slidemeister, I was banned from there many moons ago,-) and never lost a wink of sleep!
I still believe like our mutual friend Tommy Morgan, there is no big deal as to which Harmonica you pick up…..I love them both and BTW…know plenty of Chromatic players who play their chromatics out of tune!
If you want to be a "well rounded" studio harmonicist then why not play both? Toots did, Tommy Does…William Glaison does, Mike Turk does and Norton Buffalo showed us all how it's done……….and I made some nice change doing it too…..
The other day I put up a montage for Toots' retirement and I use a few of my cuts as background….I love bouncing around from the diatonic to the 270 and 280 on 'Peg' w a bit of Bass harp too…..Tommy Morgan was a big influence for me on this recording….some COOL Toots pic too!

anyway, that just my 2cents….I love your playing and Chrom is a great double with your other axes!
all the best……..
