Elder Wilson plays American primitive harmonica with a few bent notes thrown in. Wilson calls the bent notes "choking," which is understandable considering how old he is. Years ago, harmonica companies would warn that choking the harmonica will void the warranty. The page also features some video and audio of his 78 rpm recordings which date from 1952.
Elder Wilsonâs CD âThis Trainâ is available on <http://arhoolie.com/ > or <http://amazon.com/ > or can be downloaded on iTunes.
